Passion. It's what drives you -- compels you -- and it's what I have for people and photography.

I picked up my first camera at the age of 15. When a photo I entered into the state fair won first place, I was hooked. I haven't stopped taking pictures -- compelling pictures -- ever since. It's been my passion.

I graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN with a Studio Art degree in 2001. After graduation, I interned with a Time/Life documentary photographer and worked for various wedding photographers in the Twin Cities area.

In December of 2002, I shot a wedding on my own for the very first time. What a rush. Since then, my passion for wedding photography has only blossomed. I love spending time with people in love and connecting with them during the most intimate and memorable time of their life, through photography. Now, over 10 years later and with more than 100 weddings under my belt, I still wonder how I am paid to do the very thing I enjoy most!

My work has been described as authentic and full of emotion. My goal is to capture the joy, beauty and uniqueness of each wedding day, each family, and each child. At the end of the day, I hope to provide every client with memories to last a lifetime.

Let me take my passion out on you.

Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to working with you!
