Jason Gardner tells stories visually, for his wedding, corporate, nonprofit, and magazine clients. He learns as much as possible about his subject, and often captures things not normally photographed. For his wedding clients, he does a lot of planning in advance with all of his couples, getting full details on all logistics of their wedding, including times / places, and the lists and configurations of family / friends they want to make portraits on their special day.
He is producing a photography book about traditional musicians and culture in Brazil's Northeastern state of Pernambuco. The Brazilian Consulate General of San Francisco sponsored an exhibition of his work in 2010, as well as an exhibit in NY in 2007. Jason was recently selected as a Finalist in PDN/National Geographic Traveler’s “World in Focus” travel photography contest, and his work has been featured on the Kodak.com Professional website. He is a board member, NY Chapter, of The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).
