"Documentary photographer Masana uses his artist’s eye to capture the emotion of unscripted moments" New York Magazine
My wedding clients are people who feel the best photos of themselves were when they didn't even know the camera was there. They love their families. Their friends are dear to them. And they feel their wedding is an intimate celebration of their love. I was an illustrator in NYC and then one day I picked up a camera. Photographed a wedding. And I was hooked. The camera became my artist's brush.
This isn't about taking pictures. This is about telling stories with gorgeous photography. It's about you being able years from now to part the curtains of time and relive your wedding day again, and see everyone you loved and see everyone who loved you. And experience the emotions all over again. Just like that.
"What an incredible job you did.
Your photos truly are art work and we feel so incredibly blessed to have our happiest moments captured as beautifully as we remember them.
Your modern, yet classic candid style was exactly what we were hoping for, and we know that is so difficult to find.
We were so thrilled to have found you."
